Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Vicarolo. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. The service

Vicarolo is software for managing Google Business Profile listings across multiple locations. It lets you view your locations, edit them in bulk, schedule those edits to be applied gradually, and receive alerts when listing information changes.

2. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must be at least 18 and have authority to bind the organization you sign up on behalf of.

3. Trials

We may offer a free trial period. At the end of a trial, your account will convert to a paid plan only if you have provided payment details and chosen one. We will not charge you without your having selected a paid plan.

4. Your Google connection and your data

To use Vicarolo you connect a Google account with access to the Business Profile locations you manage. You represent that you are authorized to manage those locations.

You retain ownership of your business information. You grant us permission to read it, store it, and make the changes you request, solely in order to provide the service. You can disconnect at any time.

5. Important limitation regarding Google

Vicarolo does not control Google. We apply changes on your behalf using Google's official API, and we pace those changes in a way intended to reduce the risk of triggering a review or suspension. That is a risk reduction measure, not a guarantee.

Google may at any time, and for reasons outside our knowledge or control:

• suspend, restrict, or remove a Business Profile
• reject, alter, or revert a change we submit
• apply edits from third parties or from its own automated systems
• change its policies, its API, or the level of access available to us

We are not responsible for any suspension, removal, ranking change, loss of visibility, or loss of business resulting from Google's actions or policies. You remain responsible for the accuracy of the information you publish and for compliance with Google's Business Profile guidelines.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use Vicarolo to publish false or misleading business information, to manage listings you are not authorized to manage, to create listings for businesses that do not exist at the stated location, or otherwise in violation of Google's Business Profile guidelines or applicable law. We may suspend accounts that we reasonably believe are being used this way.

7. Fees

Paid plans are billed in advance on the interval shown at signup. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice, effective at your next renewal.

8. Availability

We aim to keep Vicarolo available but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely we will give you at least 30 days' notice and the ability to export your data.

9. Termination

You may cancel at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account for breach of these terms, or for non-payment. On termination we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to these terms or the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or business opportunity.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If the changes are material we will notify account holders by email at least 30 days before they take effect.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict of laws principles. The courts of Ontario will have exclusive jurisdiction.
